Post by: Mike Dijital on September 28, 2012, 09:47:38 AM
This place was massive, way bigger than i imagined. though i recomend going off season, the traffic to get there in the summer was rediculous

I love old military forts and installations. This one looks fairly new, I'm guessing WW2? Or was it just upgraded over the years?

This is way cool Mike.
Never got to see this one... it's impressive.
A lot of decommissioned mil bases I missed seeing in the NE.
Soon many will be lost to time as they revert back to local control.
I regret not getting to them... limited funds limit fun.

I wonder if its still there,  It was a really cool low key location. I was just getting over kidney stones when i went... weird trip... I went with Ange and that shadows guy, they basically ignored us most of the time and took off on their own alot lol @Blackhawk

That is a fairly large fort would love to explore something like this although it reminds me of one of the forts I did up in San Fran a few years ago very cool!

Sweet.  Love old military bases.  Got to explore 4 of the old Atlas F sites in NM a few years back.  Crazy dangerous, almost took that midair step into oblivion at one.
