If anyone here is familiar with Wilmington, MA at all, you might know about the historic town pound there.  They used to keep wolves and god knows what else inside:

Drove by today and it's GONE, replaced by the front yard of a new shitty McMansion!  What the hell?

I dunno, I just had to post this someplace.

I felt I had to add my own opinion to counter the short-sighted retard who commented the article first.  What a shitbrick.  People like this are ruining New England.

I still think the guy is a jerk for doing that.  If you don't like train horns, don't buy a house near train tracks.  Same goes for the highway issue.  If you don't like a big wall of rocks, then don't buy a house next to one.

One article said it was on private property and the town couldn't do anything. Bullshit! I know a family from Weston and there is a really old white fence around their front portion of the house, and they can't even repair it or paint it. Try to tell them that the city can't do shit.

That's such bullshit. Wow. Clearly histoic doesn't mean much to anyone anymore. I hate when I drive out 114 or anywhere towards the coast and see 1 beautiful old house surrounded by three identical prefab houses.

I noticed. I hate coming across cul-de-sac's with all similar houses made out of shitty materials and have no character.

There should be some law a variance or something!!  ##:(

The almighty dollar will win out over preservation of a region's heritage every time. So sad. *wah*
