Hi People,

I have set up another YouTube account (CaveClanMedia) and will gradually put the 30 clips that I have on there.

The first is from A Current Affair - 1991.

This one is already on YouTube, but I'm putting them all up and this one is the first.

More to come (even the embarrassing ones - most of them!)

Hard Copy - Jan 15, 1992.

Features an interview with co-founder & original member of the Cave Clan's Sydney branch, Predator.

I reckon it pretty funny how they try and make it so dramatic :)

I will post some more is a couple of weeks.

Cheers

The media is really well done in AU. If that story were to be done in the US, they'd have made us out to be terrorist criminals.

Another wonderful clip.

Probably the same now - it was 1992 :)

The worst Cave Clan TV interview EVER!
Live TV sucks. Also, the people that we going to talk didn't and we ended up with a nutbag (he actually ended up in the nut-house) speaking.

The 'The World Around Us' interview was shot in Sydney with the SydClan in 1993.

This is a rare one in that the interview is with the Adelaide (South Australia) branch.

The guy in the blue shirt was the founder of the Adekaide branch Zorga (RIP).

The Buzz

and the first Joint interview have been added.

Both are quite positive interviews.

Cheers,

they charge you people with $10,000 fines?!? Fuck that. It's damned near legal here, being public property and what not.

Nah, just bullshit scare tactics.

Actually in Melbourne where there are more drainers in Australia than any where, when someone sees someone going into a drain and calls the 'dob in a drainer' (seriously, there was an actual number!) they'd get a message saying that they were closed and that you should call back between the hours of 9 to 5 Monday to Friday :)

Except for a year or two where the government were going crazy with an anti-terrorism advert campaign, the cops do not give a shit about us going in drains... I have a lot of cop tales to tell :)

This one is rare in that it was done by the Brisbane branch who are usually ultra-secretive-Ninja-like explorers.

Brisbane is where the worst of the recent Australian floods ocurred.

I just thought I'd chuck a short one up (the next four each go for about ten minutes each!) to tide you over until I get the time (some time in March) to put the rest up).

Rebbecca Ingram and her crew joined the Cave Clan in Sydney in 2000 for 6 weeks to shoot this docco before SBS shit-canned it.
