    Doing some scans of old pictures for Annas family, I came across these portraits from the late 30's early 40's of anna's grands

    They just dont make portaits like this anymore

    No you really don't. Back then photography was still very new, less then 100 years old, and most people had cameras that took only 8 shots on a roll or maybe they had a 35mm camera that had maybe 20 shots, colour was still very new (Kodachrome was released in the mid 1930s) so great care was taken and the images would last much longer than today's would.

    Thanks for sharing these Mike! I Love old photos. (and using old cameras, I just got a camera from 1929 that still works, Just have to fix one thing on it and it'll be ready for use in the field!)
