So I figured, I have shot almost all types of film in abandoned places, 35mm, 120, colour, black and white, slide....but what about Polaroids? And I'm not talking the integral stuff that you got from SX-70, 600, or Spectra cameras, I'm talking 1960s, Type 100 pack film, the good old crack and peel. So this weekend I took along my frankly beautiful Polaroid Automatic 250 Land Camera, two packs of Polaroids Chocolate film, a self-timer, and release cable to capture one of my more favourite locations in Ontario.

The camera:

Awesome stuff man. I have that same camera just sitting in a box in my spare room. I should try and get some film for it and see what I can do with it.

Thanks!

Alright as for film...you have currently several options.

1) Impossible Project: http://shop.the-impossible-project.com/shop/film/type100 they have access to cold stored real Polaroid stock, I reccomend the Chocolate and the Type 664
2) Fuji - Fuji still produces new Colour and B/W Type 100 (Pack Film Stock) the FP-100c (Colour) and FP-3000b (B/W), and if you can still find it FP-100b (B/W) which is avalible from places like Adorama, Freestyle, and B&H.

If you're looking for batteries for the cameras you can either buy actual batteries that fit the stock cameras here: http://filmphotographystore.com/products.asp?cat=49

Or you can head over to Option 8 http://www.instantoptions.com/conversions/batteries.php and convert your camera.

Packtastic!
