Arilem and I spent last week in Wyoming.  Here are some highlights.

Titan by cor726, on Flickr
I believe this is a Titan base, we elected to not walk to it and head to a more promising looking Atlas D as we were starting to run out of daylight and still had a 3 hour drive to get to our hotel for the night.

Cradle by cor726, on Flickr
The missile cradle - I am amazed they left the cradles in these bases

Atlas D - computer racks by cor726, on Flickr
The server room with several remaining racks.  It's hard to believe the amount of money that was spent on bases like this.  This particular base was on alert status for only 5 years before being deactivated.

Busted Powerplant by cor726, on Flickr
This power plant looked so promissing, however it is just a shell

Block A by cor726, on Flickr
Ok - this isn't exactly Urbex, this was a tour, but it is still pretty cool imo.  Block A at the former Wyoming State Penetentiary.

Gold Mine by cor726, on Flickr
Remains of an old gold mine where every buiding was sealed very tight

Old Faithful by cor726, on Flickr
You can't exactly go to Wyoming and skip Yellowstone.  Here is Old Faithful.

Good photos.   I don't believe there were any Titan bases in Wy.

Thanks WSH.

I am no expert on Missile sites.  I just assumed that because it appears to be all underground that it was a Titan.

Do you have any guesses to the type of Base it was?

Thanks K8

Surprisingly enough there was only 6 people executed in the gas chamber.

They asked if anyone wanted to have have a seat in the chair.  Me and my girlfriend were the only volunteers.

I guess we are a little morbid.

An amazing set dude. Though I must ask. How did you know about all those locations? I would love to visit those missile bases. I'm a sucker for those old kind of bases. And do u have any other pics from those bases?

Thanks - I am glad you enjoyed them.  I have lots of photos of the base - there were 3 launchers and about 5 other buildings.  I will post some more in the future.  As far as finding them - a combination of google maps and wikipedia was all I used to find them all.  Just be careful because they also list the active sites as well.  It's probably the type of active infiltration that you wouldn't want to try lol

For other locations it was flickr, google maps, and mytopo maps and lots and lots of time.  I spent 3 months preparing for the trip.

Some of the shacks weren't sealed up, but they weren't anything too interesting.  Most were two rooms - a bedroom and a kitchen area.  I have a couple photos of them somewhere.  I will post them when I stumble across them.

Probably another version of the Atas.  They had A-F, F being the last and the underground silo.
