When the fuck is Poughkeepsie gonna get their shit together and save this place? I can't believe such a beautiful building is being left to the mercy of arsonists, idiot kids and graff artists that think tagging a Kirkbride from 1868 is cool.

I doubt Poughkeepsie has much interest in saving the building. They're more interested in what the land could be used for.

It's pretty well beyond saving at this point. The best it can realistically hope for is the Danvers treatment.

I'm pretty sure that was the plan anyway. Keep the brick walls and remove then rebuild the middle.
