Storm Winds

Because of the nature of Hathorne hill, wind was always amplified.
In the Kirkbride building, and just about any point, any storm or even brisk wind literally howled through the building. It was like horror movie sound effects for hours on end. It was particularly bad on the B building, just by it's alignment to the hill, the wind howled, and moaned all night long. Wards with elevators onthem were the worst.

I was there for Gloria I think, Bob too. God the wind was bad, I remember driving home around down trees..
The thing about the wind when it was howling, is that mournful sound it made as it blew through the building. You could feel it in the hallways. During the winter on those windy days the B-1 windows would frost on the inside.
