I've heard that now Ford owns the property and all these items from the station are coming out of the woodwork. I hope that it gets cleaned up and reopened. I know a lot of folks are pulling for this and see it as a transformative moment for the city.
yes sir! ford bought it and actually put windows in the whole fucking 22 story building!
they also have leds on it so they can project images and colors onto the building.
people around here are VERY excited. im excited too, if they do it the right way. the new windows look like shit!
my top secret "enter only when theyre shooting movies" entrance is still there (and likely always will be because no one knows about it), the train track are dangerous cuz of the fines, but still doable.
and then theres the "lets pile 15 newbs into this place and have a party entrance" which is open again.
and yeah, the guy who has the original clock gave it back to them.
all i ever got there was a 3 cent milk bottle, and since it has nothing to do with mcs in general, im keeping it~
