While cruising and looking for something to do. Erin and I decided
to stop in at this abandoned driving range. It's been abandoned
forever and something close to home. Plus it has a wonderful view of
Danvers State from the driving platform. As we approached the
building, Erin took a left and I proceeded to the driving platforms.
For some weird reason this was the only area of the driving range
that was fenced off. I jumped over this flimsy fence to get a good
picture of the range itself, and to get a few shots of my favorite State
hospital. I proceed down a set of stairs to the batting cages. Well
not really. It's more like a baseball launcher and people batting
would hit the balls out to the driving range field. It seemed like a very
    disorganized setup, scrambling for space.

After cutting through the batting area I headed towards a
staircase where there were giant industrial light fixtures
laying there. More than likely used to light up the range
at night. I head up the stairs and find Erin, We decided
to walk around the front and grab a few shots. We were
also looking for a good spot for Danvers State pictures.
You got to love the fact that you can sit in one
abandoned location to take pictures of another
abandoned location. As we head around the far corner
we notice some people have taken to dumping kitchen
appliances in the corner of the parking lot. I never did
find the ball collector golf cart. I looked everywhere. It
must have been sold earlier, dammit. All was not lost
though, The driving range is a cool place to check out,
and an even better place to get pictures of danvers state
